white chocolate cranberry oatmeal cookies

i won a divisional baking contest with these while stationed at uscentcom.
ingredients
Butter :⅔ cup
Brown Sugar :⅔ cup
Egg :2
Flour :1 ½ cups
Baking Soda :1 teaspoon
Salt :1 teaspoon (or more, to taste...)
Dried Cranberries :1 cup
White Chocolate Chips :⅔ cup
Nutmeg :A pinch or so. It is the secret ingredient.
Oats :1 ½ cups
instructions
1 . Melt your butter and whisk it together with your sugar.
2 . Beat the eggs into the butter and sugar, one at a time.
3 . Combine your flour, baking soda, and salt in a bowl.
4 . Whisk your flour mixture into your butter mixture a little at a time until you have brown goop.
5 . Add your oats, dried cranberries, and white chocolate chips to your brown goop a little at a time, stirring until it is well mixed.
6 . Let it sit in the fridge overnight so the oats soak up all the moisture.
7 . Scoop the cookie-dough into little balls of dough and space them about two inches apart from eachother on a baking tray.
8 . Bake them at 375° for ten minutes or until the edges are gold.
