sour cherry soup
notes
so this is a hungarian cold dessert soup, which is usually called 'meggyleves'. if you are shy of sour cream, you can use greek yogurt too. if you have never pitted raw cherries before, you can use a plastic straw and a glass bottle. put the cherry over the mouth of the bottle. push the straw through the cherry at the stem. the seed will fall out into the glass when you push.
